Kelly the Dog Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Anyone who likes and follows or works in films knows all about Imdb, probably the best film site on the Net. There is a terrific story in the NYT today about it. Started in 1990 by one guy and a few of his friends. He still runs it from his house (sort of) in Bristol, England. A definite feel good success story for the little guy. Thanks, Col. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/05/28/business...UokP2pcxolWw3bw
eSJayDee Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 One of the 1st "useful" sites I found when I started surfing, circa '94. (The other was a listing of all the lyrics to Jimmy Buffett songs.) IIRC, back then, you could actually download their entire database as ASCII & search yourself.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 It's the only site I use when I'm interested in movie and TV info.
