Dibs
Did you know that optimists live longer? 699086 That's a very optimistic statement.
EC-Bills
I predict winning will be the key for us getting to the playoffs.
Dibs
This is what it will take: 1. Losman needs to develop and be the starter 2. A great year from McGahee 3. The OL to be greatly improved 4. The defense to bounce back from a horrid 2005 -- Big years for Takeo, Shoebel, Tripplett and Clements. 5. The same strong special teams play we have enjoyed for the past few season 6. Six wins in our division 7. Win some close games for a change!!!!! 8. Some fortunate plays and calls in our favor. 9. The element of surprise 10. Winning attitude and character Other than that, not much I think 6-10 or 7-9 is more likely. 699146 Gee, I'd say if all of those things happen we could win the Super Bowl. I don't get it. Last season we won 5 games. We won them with.... Key injuries. Terrible coaching Terrible play calling Terrible player management and most importantly..... A virtual systemic lack of motivation and effort(sans special teams) We have... added several players who are better than the players they are replacing. have a couple of young players who are(should/could) improving. added high motivation type players across the board. Getting players back from injury. Theoretically have a coach who can inspire his players to play hard. We have a schedule where we play 5 games against teams with worse records than we had. Everything might go bad & we win less games than last year but... 50% of things might go O.K. & we win between 7-9 games.
Dibs
Losman isnt even going to be the starter this year...they signed Nall to be the starter, its his job to lose 699172 Thanks for the info. That saves me reading & contributing to the many 'who will be our starting QB' threads. O.K.....inking in starter at QB....Nall. Thanks
Bob in STL
Losman isnt even going to be the starter this year...they signed Nall to be the starter, its his job to lose 699172 His job to lose? That is the first I heard of that. He was brought in to compete. He is a more seasoned option than bringing in another rookie but he is still very raw. Nall has upside but is a long shot IMO.
