Typical TBD Guy Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Don't blame Jillson. Blame the Hockey Gods. If they weren't so !@#$ing vengeful, they never would have taken Kalinin, Numminen, and Tallinder away from us at the same time - and Jillson would have never had to step into an NHL rink again.
Alaska Darin Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 He can shave his playoff beard. Maybe that'll help him not whiff on the puck when he's the last man back or remember to actually cover his guy, instead of letting him bang home the killer goal rebound. Fug.
stevestojan Posted May 27, 2006 Author Posted May 27, 2006 I made this thread as a joke, obviously... too bad this ass-hat played like a joke. Worthless.
X. Benedict Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 The kid had three pretty boneheaded plays. That was a tough night. Although he does set a nice screen. (for Carolina)

smokinandjokin Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 Carolina's 3rd goal, Jillson did a commendable job keeping the puck in the offensive zone. Max fired a pass at him about two feet off the ground from about eight feet away. Jillson was backed up against the blue line with a guy on him tight. I was impressed he was even able to keep the puck in. However, as Carolina broke out, there was no excuse for not taking the body as the goal scorer cruised right past him and hammered in a juicy rebound. All told, even with our full defensive corps, if Buffalo puts forth an effort like that, they still lose 3-0. That was horrendous to watch.
