HOA's well within their rights, though. Like it or not, you can't just do ANYTHING you want with your house if you've agreed to abide by the rules as determined by your HOA. Don't like it? Live in a neighborhood without a HOA.

I gotta say I'm a bit bummed seeing Big Bird with a smoke hanging out of his mouth, Ernie looking like a mad scientist waving the gun, and Bert swigging malt liquor from a brown bag. Not sure they should be banned, but there's just no accounting for bad taste.
