slothrop Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 Just got a daily fantasy football update from the folks at footballguys.com. They note that Evans will start over Reed this sunday. A possible indication that the Bills will go more verticle or work the TE's and RB's more underneath.
Corp000085 Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I'd love to see the first play be a 60 yard streak to evans. It would 1) give bledsoe confidence 2) loosen up the secondary 3) set up the run This team's line is too bad to run to set up the pass. They can't block. The only way that henry has a chance is to keep the D line off balance.

I think that this may also be an indication of more changes in the works, like getting McGahee geared up for a lot more snaps.
zow2 Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 I'm sure New England won't be looking for an Evans pass deep on the first play Yeah, i know...we gotta try it.
slothrop Posted October 1, 2004 Author Posted October 1, 2004 I think it is great because it will better open the TE's up. This will only happen if we take at least two legitimate deep shots in the first half.
