udonkey Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 When I access TSW, I get a popup that asks me if I want to open xpl.wmf from http://traff5all.biz I obviously am not opening and am only getting it from this website. SDS?
udonkey Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 FYI, I'm only getting the popup in Firefox. When I tried to browse the site using IE, I got a notification from my anti-virus (AVG Free edition) that a trojan was detected.
udonkey Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 I'm assuming that everyone else is dealing with this too, hence the lack of action on the board right now. Its obvious that this is some sort of spyware/virus, so I would urge everyone to be very careful and do not open anything if you don't know what it is.
Chilly Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Yep, my nod32 pops up in both Firefox and IE blocking it.
Chilly Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Suggestion to everyone using AdBlock Plus with Firefox, block the following domain names to stop the crap on your own browser: traffdollars.biz traff5all.biz artolib.com picsjournal.com 1-extreme.biz After I blocked all of these domain names in AdBlock Plus, it stopped trying to put that crap on my pc. Crap Throwing Monkey Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I crash everytime I sign on. 690716[/snapback] Ditto. Something's trying to take over my computer. So far, it's failing.
SDS Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 is it still happening? Someone inserted 2 iframes into the templates. I removed them, but I'm uncertain if tehre are others.
udonkey Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 seems to be back to normal - thanks for getting to it
