kasper13 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 NHL ratings get less than a 1 in the USA. Playoff ratings get the same. I don't see why the NHL would care who is in the Finals. The ratings in the local TV markets in Buffalo, Carolina, San Jose, Anaheim, Edmonton would be insane. Other hockey cities will get decent ratings. Nobody else cares. Anyways, I thought the refs were paid by the CBC, not NBC.
Jon in Pasadena Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Course nobody in LA give a chit aboot hockey. 689491 Hey! I was at a bar watching the game yesterday with 5 or 6 other Sabres fans! And I'm gonna be there again today, and this time KTFBD is gonna be there too! So there!
Mark VI Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 KTFBD is gonna be there too! 689630 That will ruin the whole ambiance. He'll just prattle on about the Bills bad draft.
PromoTheRobot Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 NBC will ask if Anaheim can play San Jose for the Stanley Cup...best of 15. PTR

Price it right and the fans will pony up the dough. In fact the NHL can tell NBC to go pound sand. The NHL will be the first direct-to-the-consumer sports league! PTR
