Kelly the Dog
Twice in hockey all-time. Once in baseball all-time. Never in NBA all-time. That's rather remarkable, although the Sabres better concentrate on winning game four. Only twice in NHL history has a team come back to win a series after being down three games. The Toronto Maple Leafs did so to win the Stanley Cup in 1942, and the New York Islanders won four straight to advance to the semifinals in 1975. The 2004 Boston Red Sox are the only other major sports team to have rallied from a three-game deficit, eliminating the New York Yankees to reach the World Series. It has never happened in the NBA.
