SilverNRed Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Game time fast approaching. Maybe we can get Muckler to put a chair through a window tonight.
udonkey Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I don't find myself watching many hockey games, but damn, the fans are loud at HSBC so far!
SilverNRed Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Sabres need to score the first goal to find out if any Sens are going to start heading toward the bus.
Chef Jim Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 First time in 10 games Sabres don't score first.......hmmmm.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 For those who thought the Sabres would just walk away with this game...think again. Sens look great so far. Sabres got to toughen up their game to compete with this pissed off Sens squad.

TheMadCap Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Sabers are playing like pansies so far. Come on guys, play like you got a pair!!!!!!!!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Well, that was like watching a 20 minute penalty kill.... HOW ABOUT SOME OFFENSE!!
BillsGuyInMalta Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 By this rate, the Sens will have 60 shots on goal by the end of the game. Sabres GOT to get themselves under control. Good thing is they got through the first, which is generally their worst period...Sabres do play a lot better in the 2nd and 3rd. They have to come out flying and knock the Sens back to kick off the period.

Anyway, I still feel like Emery is shakey even on his saves; just have to get more pucks on net.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Fff in refs, guess they are just calling it that way, won't call one on Kelly for sitting on a guy. Still the Sabres need to skate better.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Bout darn time. Cheap crap, get Neal out of the game. Accidental my rear.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Still calling it pretty pathetically, Chara is slick but dirty.
BuffOrange Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Is it legal to "decline" a penalty in hockey? Our power play is dreadful. Also, these announcers suck. I'm sure Ottawa fans don't want a penalty "every time a home team player goes down".
BillsGuyInMalta Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Emery is looking pretty good tonight, Sabres cant squeak anything by him.
YellowLinesandArmadillos Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Finally got Emery moving, that is what the Sabres haven't done tonight.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Finally got Emery moving, that is what the Sabres haven't done tonight. 689746[/snapback] His own defenseman plowing into him didn't hurt, either. Really, he may have stopped that shot - he was sliding over to block that corner in time - if the defender hadn't knocked his right leg back. Still...it's a goal. Better to be lucky than good. Even better to be both. And that call on Smolinski was cheap. I've been elbowed worse on the Metro.
