smokinandjokin Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Does anyone else not care about this guy and his stunts? I will not be tuning in to watch this moron hold his breath for nine minutes. There's a hockey game on. But since it is on live TV (supposedly), is half the appeal the possibility that he drowns himself to death (even though we know he won't?) This clown has been encased in water at Lincoln Center in NYC for 8 or 9 days. He's receiving oxygen and nutrients through a tube. I bet he has some serious shrinkage. Maybe this stooge will actually do a magic trick when he finally gets out of there. Drowned Alive
Catholic Guilt Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 He needs a tattoo on his forehead - big red letters "L.A.M!"

Pete Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I like Blaine and think hes a cool dude. I dont get him though- instead of doing death defying stunts I would be banging Josie Moran 24/7! http://www.desktopia.com/cgi-bin/ImageFoli...92.jpg&img=&tt=

Josie, wow Somehow, these magicians are always able to pull off the most amazing trick of all- Making a supermodel's sense of taste and judgement disappear.
eSJayDee Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I really don't care much but what peeves me off is the dude is gonna do a stunt that takes 7 minutes & they're gonna make a 2 HOUR tv show of it. What are they gonna do, have like 100 minutes of commercials?

Still not watching it.

Drowned Alive 686312 if hes recieving oxygen and nutrients then hes not really "surviving" hes just hanging out in a pool.
Phlegm Alley Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 He is going to try and escape with handcuffs and chains attached to him. Doesn't sound like he is hanging out in a pool. I admit that it is a pretty lame publicity stunt, but I would like to see something tragic happen on live TV programming for a change.

ajzepp Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I caught that other guy's show a few times....the Mind freak guy.....I saw him do this hovering thing where he hovers like a foot off the ground.....one time he went hovering up an escalator and the people around him pretty much sh-- themselves.....good stuff

Ghost of BiB Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Maybe they should just make an episode of "Deadliest Catch" out of it.
The Dean Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 You DARE to mock Blaintology? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Best_Friends Since I don't give a rat's-ass about David Blaine, i am not rooting for the bit to fail. Just paying no attention to it (except in this thread).

The Avenger Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Hmmm. Wouldn't another safe on the Andrea Doria be more appropriate? 686432 Yeah, but there was only one of those - there are HUNDREDS of old buidlings in Chicago where you can tear down a wall and find NOTHING on live TV...

I could care less about him, and if his stunt fails, then one less moron/jackass in the world. I love how theres a "chance to fail" even though he's booked on a few early morning shows tomorrow morning.
