eball Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 This is pissing me off. They've got 4 or 5 channels in the 90s just sitting there, when they could be showing me the OLN HD feed -- particularly as a Center Ice subscriber. What's up with this?

What's up with this? 683502[/snapback] From what I could gather in another forum, it's up to the carrier in how they deliver the games to its subscribers, and D* just hasn't decided to pick up any of the OLN 1st round games on their special event channels in HD. Speculation centered around bandwidth limitations and that per D* early season baseball games get priority over hockey games (yes, even playoffs). Might change in round 2, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Probably doesn't matter anyway, since OLN is only carrying the Carolina/Jersey series in HD in the East. Maybe the conference finals...
