GG Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Apparently, they need the illegals' help in finding Louisiana on a map. NG is at it again.
ExiledInIllinois Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Isn't sad... Immigrants that become US citizens probably know more than the dipshits that were born and raised in this country... My brother-In-Law knew a teacher that didn't know how many states there were...
KRC Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Embarassing. I took the test and got 18 out of 20. Damn immigration question. The other question I missed was the largest consumer of oil (I said China).
cromagnum Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I answered wrong on the % of immigrants , and wrong on the export I said china
The Avenger Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I answered wrong on the % of immigrants , and wrong on the export I said china 681644 Exactly the 2 I missed as well. I'd still like to see how they calculate the "value of goods and services exported" and see how close the U.S. and China are.
Ghost of BiB Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 It's OK to say pissed. People can actually say ass, too.
VABills Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 I missed 2. The oil usage, I thought China now used more then us, and who the !@#$ cares where CSI is based. I tried watching it once, and can honestly say it rivals American Idol for about the worst show on TV.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Which of these cities is the setting for the original television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation? What the hell? That's a !@#$ing geography question? Our country is so !@#$ed.

The other question I missed was the largest consumer of oil (I said China). 681619 I missed the CSI Question. I need to read less. I also missed the immigration question.
ExiledInIllinois Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 What the hell? That's a !@#$ing geography question? Our country is so !@#$ed. 681761 They can probably name it and how to get there via "coyote." Then there will be piling on the Island pissing Bill in NYC off... I don't watch series on TV, and didn't take the test... But, I bank it is either NYC of Miami??? Sad... Truly sad.

I don't need to know that CSI's set in Vegas to locate Vegas on a map. Conversely, knowing where CSI's set doesn't give me any insight as to where Vegas actually is.

I forget what kind... And I am too lazy to look it up.
ExiledInIllinois Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I was being sarcastic above... With my rep... I don't want anyone to misconstrue that I actually think that they are sensible questions...
billsfaningeneseo Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Ya, I missed the immigrant question too. Got the rest though, being a political science student in college helps things a bit. There was a news article the other day that said something like only 33% of high school students could locate Louisiana on a map......kinda sad when you think about it
olivier in france Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Makes sense... Doesn't Las Vegas mean a kind of tree in Spanish?... I forget what kind... And I am too lazy to look it up. 682060 Las Vagas mean "the springs"
John Adams Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 That CSI question can kiss my a$$. Geography shmeography. Also with an 18 here--got the immigration question right but only on a guess. I would think that most high school kids should pull about a 15 on that.
olivier in france Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Grand slam for the frog! Frankly that 20/20 was easy!
ExiledInIllinois Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Las Vagas mean "the springs" 683267 Oooops... My bad... But, don't trees grow at an oasis?
Ghost of BiB Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 What the hell? That's a !@#$ing geography question? Our country is so !@#$ed. 681761 That's the only one I missed. Who is teaching Geography now, Mr. Hand?
