Florida_BillsFan Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 Perry Fewell's accomplishments as a Defensive Back's Coach Enters his first year as the Bills defensive coordinator after spending the 2005 season as the Chicago Bears defensive backs coach…in 2005, Fewell coached the Bears defensive backs to an impressive year, guiding safety Mike Brown and cornerback Nathan Vasher to the Pro Bowl…a vital part of the Chicago defensive staff, Fewell helped the Bears rank second in the NFC in total defense and third in passing defense in ‘05…under Fewell’s tutelage, the Bears finished first in the NFC with 24 interceptions in ‘05…prior to his time in Chicago, Fewell spent two seasons coaching the secondary for the St. Louis Rams after serving five seasons in the same position for the Jacksonville Jaguars (1998-2002)…has coached four Pro Bowlers during his NFL tenure: safety Carnell Lake with Jacksonville in 1999, safety Aeneas Williams with St. Louis in 2003, safety Mike Brown and cornerback Nathan Vasher in Chicago in 2005…in his first season in St. Louis, helped the Rams tie for fourth in the NFL with 24 interceptions… Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
