The highest court in the land, in a unanimous decision, ruled that the model/actress will be allowed to continue her pursuit of a portion of her late husband's estate. The legal matter dates back to 1995 when Smith's husband of 14 months, oil tycoon J. HOWARD MARSHALL II, passed away, leaving nearly $2 billion in assets behind. Smith was originally awarded $474 million by a federal bankruptcy judge, only to have the amount later reduced by a federal district judge. Eventually, a federal appeals court in Texas threw out the entire case on jurisdictional grounds. In February, Smith brought the case to the Supreme Court, with many of the judges appearing to sympathize with her situation. As arguments were being made, Smith, conservatively dressed in black, cried quietly at times. The case now returns to California's federal appeals court. So, if she gets the $474M, the question I'm asking is: Would you pimp yourself out, leave everything behind, & go with her if you thought you had a chance at the $$$?
