Buckeye Eric Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 There is no way that anyone can properly grade this year's draft. It takes about 3 years, at least! Case in point: Kiper from 2003: Ravens (graded A+) DE Terrell Suggs (a decent player, 2003 ROY and 2004 Pro Bowl) QB Boller (has struggled. Ravens are talking about picking up McNair), RB Musa Smith (no yards last year), DE Johnson (has 1.5 career sacks), FB Mughelli (no career yards) DT Franklin (1 career sack), T Pashos (7 career starts, all last year), S Sapp (cut), TE Smith (cut), C Mabry (cut), S Sanders (cut) Unless drafting one player that everyone expects to be good gives a team an "A". No rocket science there!
Dan Gross Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Didn't he also say that the choice between Manning and Leaf was a "toss-up?"
CajunBillsBacker Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Didn't he also say that the choice between Manning and Leaf was a "toss-up?" 679493 Yep, he also said Andre Ware was gonna be an all pro for years. He hated the Bengals "reaching" on Levi Jones, and gave the Colts hell for taking Faulk and Alberts when they could have used the all world Trent Dilfer.
Cornerville Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Didn't he also say that the choice between Manning and Leaf was a "toss-up?" 679493 Yes.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Didn't he also say that the choice between Manning and Leaf was a "toss-up?" 679493 As I recall, it was at the time. But hindsight is, of course, 20/20.
