TDRupp Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 So by Pompei we basically got decent value at 8 and 26 and while I think Detroit would probably still go with Sims there is a chance it would have been "Whitner the Hitter". If our board and needs did not target anybody else at around 15 or 14 then I back our pick at 8. It would have been nice to try an OT with that other third though. Last point is that Ashton Y. is mentioned as a possbility at 32 so when you consider the first 4 picks we did get on average, good value.
