ACor58 Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Marv filled needs with players that he feels will not only contribute next year, but can develop into even stronger players down the road. Using TDs philosophy, you end up with guys like Roscoe Parish, not filling a need at all, but "The best player available". I think that we are going to look back at this draft and be thankful that Marv was at the helm. When Huff was taken at 7, He decided that he would take the next best safety available, a need position, and would address DT next, another need position. We won't know if he overpaid for either of these guys until they step on the field. Here is hoping that Max Jean-Gilles is available at #8 this morning. (though I doubt he gets past Houstion) http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/...yers/47833.html

But I doubt we'll take him, lol.
