Actually, the pick of three college Juniors seems pretty consistent with what we saw in free agency - go for younger guys with upside who haven't reached their potential. Clearly, a re-building strategy that, I for one, can live with. We have a long way to go!

I see to recall that Marv, Polian and Butler didn't go for Juniors that often. Modrak must not be as gun-shy.

Yep, but the Glory Day's mantra was always production over potential, which usually meant Seniors over early-entry guys.

It was Butler who shied away from underclassmen. When Polian was our GM, there weren't that many underclassmen in the draft-You'd have to see his Carolina & Indy drafts to see if he stays away from underclassmen.
