70 Darryl Tapp, DE, Virginia Tech Sr, 6-1, 268

71 Charles Spencer, OG, Pittsburgh Sr, 6-5, 352

72 Anthony Fasano, TE, Notre Dame Jr, 6-5, 255

73 Joel Klopfenstein, TE, Colorado Sr, 6-6, 245

74 Will Allen, OG, Texas Sr, 6-6, 315

75 Kellen Clemens, QB, Oregon Sr, 6-2, 218

76 Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green Jr, 6-4, 226

77 Elvis Dumervil, DE, Louisville Sr, 5-11, 250

Will Allen is too raw. Charles Spencer (actually a OT) is a mountain of a man with poor technique. Tapp would be awesome at the #70 pick. Guards aren't going off the board, though Max Jean-Gilles will be next, and won't be there at #70.

Package a Day 2 pick, move up into the 2nd and take Jean-Gilles.

I'm getting worried that Bennie's job is safe. :(

Who cares! Does it even matter. We can expect these losers to then draft some 5th round prospect.

And don't forget, he's gotta have an injury history if he wants to play for the Bills. That narrows down the field a little bit.

In Round 3, pick 70, I like (probably in this order):

Daryl Tapp, DE

Jonathan Scott, OT, Texas

Charles Spencer, OG, Pittsburgh

Elvis Dumervil, DE, Louisville

Abdul Hodge, ILB, Iowa

Brandon Marshall WR ("Baby T.O.")

Hank Baskett WR 6’2” 224

Fred Matua OG USC mean

Mark Setterstrom OG versatile

Devin Hester fastest guy in draft, KR/CB

Joel Klopfenstein, TE, Colorado

TE, we released Adams and Milloy with Mark Campbell, so the answer is TE. We are drafting following the Pro football weekly draft guide, according to the order in which we released players, so again TE.

A few months ago, I was hoping Marv could use a late-rounder on Dominique Byrd (USC, TE).

That was pre-Robert Royal. Now it looks like the Bills are going TE by committee, rather than my at-the-time daydream of Everett and Byrd stretching defenses all over the place, with the occasional Euhus short-yardage catch. Another giant of a man at TE is Lenny Pope from Georgia. Kid's a 6-8 man-beast. Lob it up, let him pull it down. Could use the red-zone help, that's for sure.

Remaining guys who "best" address current needs of the squad: Max J-G, Eric Winston, Spencer, Allen... do they take a flyer on potentially the next Dwight Freeney with Dumervil?

OT

McNeill, Marcus

6-7 337 Auburn

Scott, Jonathan

6-6 314 Texas

Spencer, Charles

6-5 351 Pittsburgh

Trueblood, Jeremy

6-8 315 Boston College

Whitworth, Andrew

6-7 327 Louisiana State

Winston, Eric

6-6 311 Miami (Fla.)

OG

Jean-Gilles, Max

6-4 356 Georgia

I don't want Eric Winston, however, if he is there in the 3rd at our pick, you might have to look at him. But, all I am trying to say with this post is that there will be some talent in the 3rd round on the O-Line. So, don't give up hope yet!

I think Whitworth, Colledge, Scott and maybe Spencer will be gone from the OT ranks. I don't think Max Jean-Gilles will be there from OG.

One that I think drops to 70 will be the 2nd best Center in the draft, Will Montgomery. He's versatile (can play Guard), A workman, and Nasty.

I'd like to see O-line.

Ourlads had the Bills taking Klopfenstein in the second round. I read his write up, he sounds pretty good and I wouldn't be dissappointed with him either.

He's gone a couple picks ago.
