stuckincincy Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Go Surfing, I mean Sabres! Never heard of the dude, maybe he rocks? 674504 He's a very good player - never imagined he'd be the 8th overall pick, though.
bbb Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I never even heard of this guy..........I wasn't thrilled with the idea of picking Huff - a safey - that high..........So, we get the second best safety at that pick?!?
Pete Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 why the !@#$ did we not trade down? Donte would of been there 15 picks later !@#$ YOU MARV!
N.Y. Orangeman Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 I never even heard of this guy..........I wasn't thrilled with the idea of picking Huff - a safey - that high..........So, we get the second best safety at that pick?!? 674526 Good player, but isn't anywhere near worthy of the #8. The Buckeye fetish continues..
KOKBILLS Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Well... The safe Pick was DEFINTELY NOT the SS at #8...No way... I think Bunkley or Ngata is going to make this Pick look REAL bad in time...I mean the Trade Down here was obvious if you ask me... Seemed like a panic Pick to Me...Just poor Management of The Draft process...
Nick in RaChaCha Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 why the !@#$ did we not trade down? Donte would of been there 15 picks later !@#$ YOU MARV! 674532 Marv just woke up from his nap ... we picked who?
Joe in NC Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 And Leinhert has good receivers to throw to! 674500 Ngatas still there. Bunkleys still there. Justice is still out there and the Bills take.... Donte Whitner
sven233 Posted April 29, 2006 Author Posted April 29, 2006 Arizona wanted to trade up to #8......we probably could have gotten a 3rd and we still would have had Whitner.... I like Whitner........but this is nuts.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 why the !@#$ did we not trade down? Donte would of been there 15 picks later !@#$ YOU MARV! 674532 Detroit wanted Whittner. He was gone at #9 is the Bills traded the pick. PTR
ndirish1978 Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Why the hell would we not take Bunkley! Something happened, we didnt even get a cab driver
LabattBlue Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 The words in Bold tell me everything I need to know why Whitner was drafter #1 by Marv... 674519 It's okay that he was the #1 pick of the Bills...just not as the # friggin' 8 overall pick. I walked away from the TV because I didn't want to hear anyone ridicule the bills for taking this guy WAY TOO HIGH!!! I want the fyou smiley and I want it now!!!!
