Tux of Borg Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Just heard on tv - this was Pedro's 4th straight loss in starts 50304 It's that time of the year when Pedro and the Sox start to choke.
njsue Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Yankees have way too many ghosts of yankees greats on there side. I thought I saw the spirit of babe ruth down at the devil Rays stadium.
SeanO Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Sorry to say but the Yanks are going to need some divine help this year.. If the Yanks make it out of the first round, they hope its not the Sox ALCS. Pedro is a lot smarter than yank fans think. If he get a shot at them again, he will beat them. Like A Mofo Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 I'm not a big baseball fan but it's pretty clear to me that the Red Sox are the LAST team that the Yankees want to face. In my assessment, they're flat out scared. 50190 Watch ESPN, the Red Sox Nation's Network much??? Red Sox can beat the Yankees I dont dispute that one bit, but the Yankees are scared? I highly doubt that
Like A Mofo Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Santana has been damn near unbeatable since the break. He's REALLY good. 50153 I totally agree and fellow Yankees fans, they didnt beat Santana, the Twins decdied to use him 5 innings because this is the first yr Santana has logged over 200+ innings and they want him fresh for the postseason...Santana is 13-0 since the All-Star break, ERA I believe is 1.21....thats filthy. I want no part of this team in Round 1
Guest Guest Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 The Angles own the Yankees Go Anaheim!!!
gantrules Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 How about Anaheim and Houston gaining position to make the playoffs with three to four days of games left to go....what a friggin wild ass system.
