Fezmid
make that 2-0! 673435 That was a cool goal. Shoot the puck, goalie makes the save, then a Flyer comes out of nowhere, smashes into his own goalie, and pushes the goalie, puck, and himself into the net. CW 673440 Eerily reminiscent of how the Flyers scored game 3. At least they got the goal right this time.
Pete
2-1 good guys end of 1. Sabres playing well but Forsberg is a monster
kegtapr
What a great !@#$ing period of hockey. And could the short bus helmets being worn by flyer fans be any more fitting?
SilverNRed
Sabres are crapping their pants in the 2nd period. Again.
Pete
Sabres are crapping their pants in the 2nd period. Again. 673477 They played real sloppy during the first 5 minutes but seem to be playing better. They need to pay more attention to Forsberg. That guy is everywhere 673481 That should be just about the most obvious thing in the world. The list of obvious things the Sabres had to do tonight was: 1. Bring skates. 2. Lockdown Forsberg. 3. Get to the arena on time. How did they forget #2???

SilverNRed
Man, how many breakaways missed tonight. And now a penalty shot. 673494 How about they stop shooting it over the net or wide of the net? Might help.
Jukester
I'm sorry but Afenigenov needs to spend some time on the bench. Turnover after turnover tonight... a couple resulting in really good scoring chances for the Flyers.
SilverNRed
I'm starting to think the absolute worst thing that could have happened was the Sabres win game 2 by a score of 8-2. I don't know what's happened to them since.

kegtapr
If the Sabres would just play their game of speed and puck handling they would win. The first 7 minutes of the 2nd they played the Flyers game. Then all of a sudden turned it on for about 5 minutes and had great scoring chances. If they keep playing thier game eventually the puck will find the back of the net. If not, Flyers in 6.

How did they forget #2??? 673488 Well, except when they use 3 guys to "lockdown Forsberg" he just passes the puck (that would be their first goal). Interesting how they're showing how Flyers are taking themselves out of the game in order to get extra shots at Campbell in particular...go ahead and waste the effort boys... Just Jack
So I turn on OLN to watch the game, and there's a scroll along the bottom about it being blacked out because it's being shown on a local channel. But I can't find a local channel showing it. Damm Time Warner.
SilverNRed
3-2 Flyers and Afinogenov takes a dumb penalty seconds later. Amazing. We have a team of mental midgets.
