Hollywood Donahoe Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Ben Watson - IR Deion Branch - Doubtful Kevin Faulk - Questionable, hasn't practiced I don't need to tell you that these injuries limit the Pats' offensive versatility. Damn!

Paco Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Injuries haven't stopped them before. What makes you think it'll stop them now?
Hollywood Donahoe Posted September 29, 2004 Author Posted September 29, 2004 What happened to big ben? 50050 Beats me. He didn't dress against Arizona, but I didn't think it was anything serious. The Pats' official site lists is as a knee injury I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise, since one of Watson's knocks coming out was that he was injury-prone. Still sucks, though. At least he lasted longer than the fuggin' soldier. Fauria will probably replace him in the starting lineup, and ex-Phin Jed Weaver takes his place on the roster.
Thurman's Helmet Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Watson hurt his knee in the Colts game. The Pats have plenty of weapons even without Branch, Watson or Faulk.

SF Bills Fan Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 They have a good system in place. They plug in back-ups and you can hardly tell the difference. ---------------- Go Bills
silvermike Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Ben Watson - I still don't really understand that pick. They've got a solid TE in Graham, why spend a first rounder on another?

34-78-83 Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 HD don't kid yourself. It's not the Branch's and Watson's that worry us, It's the QB, the Coach, and the Defense. You will be at no evident disadvantage without the Players you mentioned.

A TE who can line up in as many positions as Watson (TE, WR, FB, H-Back) are a much more versatile weapon.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 You already getting your excuse set up for when the Bills spank your asses??!! 50236 The Brady excuse generator is already in full-swing!
Greg de'Ville Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 ...tough breaks for those players, but in the overall scheme it probably won't make a difference. Just blitz the hell out of the Statue of Bledslow and the Patsies will undoubtedly prevail. Still a lot of talent out there. The only way the Bills can possibly stay with NE is to force TOs and shorten the field--but that's a reach. Can't see that happening Sunday, unfortunately. Given the Patsies' ability to protect Brady compared to the Bills' OLs, well...

The injuries will help since Branch is a key player for them, as is Faulk. Watson hadn't done a whole lot but it means he's behind the curve now.
c-biscut Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 You are in luck rather than we are in luck?

Nanker Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 Don't get down Hollywood. The Bills are hit hard by the incompetence bug.
