Kelly the Dog Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 The high revenue teams added were pretty good news for the Bills, Green Bay, Cleveland, Detroit and Houston. None of the bad bad cities or owners. St. Louis and the Blls represent the lower fourth. Two more will be added. But you couldn't ask for much more so far. I am sure one of the New Yorks, or Jerry Jones or Kraft will be one of the remaining two. http://timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=475207
Mark VI Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Bob McNair ( Houston ) is one of the rich boys. He's carrying a lot of debt from the stadium and franchise fee.

But as far as I know, he is not one of the !@#$s that are intentionally trying to bypass the league tenets or overpay players with huge signing bonuses, etc. He did, however, get an extraordinary 300 million from Reliant for the stadium naming rights.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 That's a great mixture. And the two remaining teams are supposed to be lower revenue teams, so it's cool. And McNair and Lerner are but two voices. And I believe Ralph has good relationships with Frontieri and Ford, and Green Bay knows where Buffalo is coming from.
