buckeyemike Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Must have been a big pickup truck. Just found that on ESPN.com...the AP article doesn't say how many players it took to lift the truck, but it sounds like they saved this guy's life. Wow. Mike

When I was in high school, there was this guy who drove a smaller car... few of us picked it up and carried it onto the sidewalk trying to get him a parking ticket. No ticket, but shocked the hell out of me that we were able to pick it up. Edit: By "few" I mean like a dozen and by "picked up" I mean "scootched"

I still have no idea how we did that...I was easily the biggest guy in the group, and to tell the truth I'm kind of a marshmallow...
Just Jack Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Edit: By "few" I mean like a dozen and by "picked up" I mean "scootched" 670533[/snapback] A few years ago, me and two of my brothers went to the mall during the Christmas Shopping Season. After driving through the parking garage where we wanted to park, we finally located a spot in the far corner, except that someone with a Ford Escort was taking two spots. So while one brother waited in the car, us other two "scooted" the Escort over the line, so it was only taking one spot. If we wanted to be mean, we could have kept going another 3-4 feet and it would have been between two support columns.
udonkey Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 When I was a freshman, one of the varsity linemen drove an old VW Beetle (funny sight - the guy was easily 260-270). One day, a bunch of us picked it up and moved it behind some concrete poles that were blocking off a fire hydrant in the lot. Pretty damn funny to see him go out after practice and try to get his car out.
