Pete Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Local n'paper article about B'gals FS Madieu Wiliams of MD... Remarkable young man. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art.../604230353/1066 668885 Nice story. For every TO and Sean Taylor there are 5 Madieu Wiliams out there. Nice to hear a nice sports story. Cheers Madieu!
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Very nice story. I think him being hurt last year surely affected the Bengals D. It's probably not a good thing when former school teacher Kevin Kaseveharn (sp?) is your starting SS.

Cheers Madieu! 668891 I think even TO and Sean Taylor would step up to care for their own brother when a tragedy like a mother's death occurs. This Madieu Williams seems like a high character guy, but let's be real...I think ANYONE in his situation would do the same thing. There are plenty of people who didn't receive $1.2 million signing bonuses who step up and take care of family issues. It's a nice story, but not a big deal, and not out of the ordinary. It would be a big deal if he was ignoring family members in need.

Fact is, this kid suddenly found himself stepping up and being the parent of a 12-year old...and from the sound of it, he's being a better parent than most natural parents.
