JimBob2232 Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I was just thinking, Jets fans ALWAYS boo their pick at the draft. One problem...who could they select that would cause fans to boo? Leinert? Young? D'Brick? Mario? I think the jets have to take one of those 4. Hard to see Jets fans disapointed with any of them.
Like A Mofo Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Cutler. Spoke with a few Jets fans here in NJ and that is the one guy that they will flip out over.

Most casual fans would boo for a OL when a guy like Leinert is there, even though that's what they need.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Anyone but Leinart, if he's still on the board when they pick. Mike Greenberg of ESPN will probably commit hari kiri ON AIR if they DON'T take him.
bobblehead Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Anyone. It's all a show to those Jet fans. Keeping up with apperances, you know.
Marv's Neighbor Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 If the NFL moved the draft out of NYC we wouldn't have to suffer listening to idiots!
stuckincincy Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Anyone. It's all a show to those Jet fans. Keeping up with apperances, you know. 668119 Yep - the Philly fans put on a good show, too.
Acantha Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Anyone. It's all a show to those Jet fans. Keeping up with apperances, you know. 668119 They cheered for Vilma.
a player to be named later Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 They chanted for Keyshawn Johnson... That is the only time I remember them cheering. A couple years ago, they drafted at DE, not sure if it was John Abraham, or the year after they drafted him. Jets fans were the funniest. All you see is when they make the pick all Jets fans saying "What the F***". They were so pissed. NYC fans are so funny. They think they are the best. I'm so glad that the Rangers got put in their place.
