Rico
I think you forgot Bunkley on Day 1, don't see anyone taking him... Anywho, if the draft went down like that, I love Huff in the 1st, but would take Deuce instead of Whitworth in the 2nd, Colledge instead of Williams and Oshinowo instead of any WR in the 3rd. BillsGuyInMalta
I like the Huff and Williams picks, but Whitworth will probably be around in the 3rd round (maybe even the 4th) and I'm not very high on taking yet another WR for this team...we've already got what? 10? No need for another. And before anyone points it out, I know I have the Bills taking a WR in my own mock, but that was before we signed Peerless and added another to the heap. The Michael Huff pick would be a good pick, but unless we see Green Bay somehow taking Ngata with the number 5 pick, I think Ngata will be on our team. The second round pick seemed to be a little bit of a stretch. I think if Lutui or Gillies is there, I would take him over Whitworth. The third round picks are good. booya2
Would our best move be to snag Michael Huff in the first, and go back for Gabe Watson with our 2nd rd. pick (we may or may not have to move up a few spots to get him, I've seen him projected late first-early 2nd). This seems to fill our 2 glaring needs on D, but wouldn't be at all reaching for a need if we could get those guys at that spot in the draft. If we can get a big NT to play along side Triplett and a big time playmaker at safety, I think our defense could be dominant again right away. I know the OL needs work too, but getting our D back to where it was could go a long way toward us being a winning team again.

Also like others have mentioned, Bunkley was not seen in round 1, probably an oversight.

You don't know what all 32 teams will be doing. 665887 yeah I know...but i figured about 12 days before I could get a pretty good sense of things... however, I dont think this is the last of the trades we are gonna see next weekend...I think the Jets might just jump up and grab Leinart and if they do, there is an outside chance that D'Brick or Hawk fall to us, depending on what New Orleans and Green bay do. If the saints take Mario instead of D'brick at 4, green bay is the only team that doesnt have big money wrapped up in a younger tackle right now. If green bay passes on D'brick for Hawk, we have a chance at him. OR.... If the Saints take D'Brick, like they should...its a strong possibility that the Packers take Super Mario instead of Hawk, which means we'd have to hope the 49ers dont take Hawk and I think the Raiders will pass on him as well. But like I said, its an outside chance...like hitting an inside straight flush on the river that said, I'm still convinced with the amount of line talent in this draft we can grab an impact player with the first pick and still build a solid line from 2-5. but we can't neglect depth at other positions and pick more than 4 lineman. We're still gonna need a CB to replace Thomas, especially someone big enough to move into a starting role soon. Also a solid backup RB for McGahee should he go down for an extended period of time. Shaud Williams can't carry the load himself and if Lionel Gates was that good, he would have seen some time last year. Just a few things to think about. Jason Hatcher DE | (6'5", 284, 4.92) | GRAMBLING Strengths: Possesses great size and strength. Is tall, well-built and powerful. Has good overall bulk and shows the lower body strength to anchor. Is able to hold his ground versus the run when he plays with leverage. Has long arms and big hands. Shows good quickness and mobility for his size. Also has good leaping ability and will bat down a lot of passes at the LOS. Shows some ability to drive OT's back into the pocket as a power rusher. Weaknesses: Is raw and unpolished. Plays too high at times and lets linemen get into his body. Must learn to play with better leverage and to use his hands more properly. Lacks adequate top-end speed and is not a threat to turn the corner as a perimeter pass rusher. Does not show an array of pass rush moves and is too one-dimensional in that facet. Overall: Hatcher was a two-year starter at Grambling. He took over as a starter during his junior season in 2004, when he tallied 33 total tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks. He finished his senior season in 2005 with 71 total tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. Hatcher comes from the small school level and will have a difficult transition to make to the NFL. He is raw and needs lots of polish. However, he has very good size and strength, as well as adequate speed/agility for such a big defensive end. In short, Hatcher shows enough upside as a power-end prospect to warrant late round consideration.
#1TN Bills Fan
I think you forgot Bunkley on Day 1, don't see anyone taking him... Anywho, if the draft went down like that, I love Huff in the 1st, but would take Deuce instead of Whitworth in the 2nd, Colledge instead of Williams and Oshinowo instead of any WR in the 3rd. 665593 Yes, but who is going to fill in for Moulds as the possession receiver for this team??? All of our receivers (except Aiken) are kind of small. We need a bigger body to go over the middle! I like the guy from Notre Dame.
