His comments about his "average hands" and "poor blocking" reveal that. But how a TE who caught 51 passes for 871 yards (17.1 average) and 6 TD's in college from a bad QB, in a good conference, can be considered to have "average hands" or be "bad," is beyond me! And as for the blocking, the point was brought up a few days ago that the days of the complete and great TE are probably gone. So you basically have the choice these days of a great receiver, great blocker, or average at both TE. And again, it was ALL the questions about his height and speed that kept him lower in some scouts' minds. He answered those questions definitively.
