Dawgg
Adam Schefter of NFL Network said that the Cowboys are *very* interested in Michael Huff. He is from the area and they brought him in for a visit earlier in the week. They pick at 18 -- and Schefter said that they would not bring him in unless they had thoughts to try and trade up. Because he is going to Detroit at #9 by many mocks, an ideal place to trade into would be the Bills' spot at 8. I think a resonable trade would be our 8th for their first, second, fourth and a second next year.
stuckincincy
That's nice to hear. Perhaps we can work out a 2nd/3rd round deal with them. Huff is a bum.
JoeF
Re-acquire Bledsoe..... :-) They would owe us 500 points to get to number 8 from 18 according to the draft value board.... Draft Pick Value They have Pick #49 (17th of the second round) which is 410 points and pick 80 (#16) is worth 190. We send them #104 (our fourth rounder) to even out the deal. They do not have a fourth rounder--which would have made the deal cleaner but..we'll take their third and give them our fourth. So they get #8 and #104 We get #18, #49, #80 Our picks in the first three rounds will be....#18, #42, #49, #70, #73, #80...6 picks in the top 100....that's a lot of building for the future...or a good possibility to package two of the thirds to get another pick in the second... marck
Problem with this deal is that moves us out of position to get Winston Justice and that really leaves no immediate player available to the Bills. The only deal out their for us id if we can manuver with Detroit to give us a 3rd round pick to swap from 8 to 9 and then only if we can generate rumor or legitimate interest with a deal with Arizona if Jay Cutler is available with the 8th pick. In this scenario, we would work Detroit and Arizona and take whatever we could from the Lions to move down one spot in the draft. Best case their is a 4th or 5th round pick. In this way we could still draft Justice and have the 2nd and 3rd rounds to draft OG, and two defensive tackles.
