Bills | Tagliabue to meet with Senator about BillsMon, 17 Apr 2006 13:15:40 -0700 The Associated Press reports NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue will meet later this week with U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer to discuss concerns about the financial future of the Buffalo Bills under a new labor pact with the players. "I'm looking forward to this meeting because keeping the Bills in Buffalo is vital to western New York," Schumer said in a statement. "This is going to be the first step of a long process to do everything we can to help the Bills and small-market teams." TV newsman Tim Russert, host of NBC's Sunday morning Meet the Press program, and an avid Bills fan will also attend the meeting. MadBuffaloDisease
Hilary? That's a great idea to have her go to bat for the favorite team of her now-deceased mother-in-law!

That's a great idea to have her go to bat for the favorite team of her now-deceased mother-in-law! 664197[/snapback] Better yet, why not have Hillary send her husband to represent her? After all, it was his mother! He would have to have near as much clout as Tim Russert! Maybe he could talk to Tagliabue afterwards, about filling his job, after he retires...he might not be as "qualified" for the commish job as Condi Rice, but she is so busy polishing turds right now....Bill Clinton has mucho experience running multi-billion dollar businesses!
