Rubes Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I didn't see"Unemployed" in the list. which is truly the best job to have, as i do now Sold my interest in the business and just taking it easy for 6 months to yr before get back into the grind. BTW, love this job more than the last 661859 No kidding? Does that mean no more trips to Salt Lake for you? Dang. I wish I got paid the dough they're claiming on that list for what I do.
Arkady Renko Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 i 'm not in that list but my wife does... but does that really counts when that job is paid about 2.5 times less here in France?!! 661983 That's what socialism can do to ya.

ajzepp Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 Male nurse. 662009 Yeppers....I make more than listed median salary, though I still fall well short of 'tater' range, though
mead107 Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Yeppers....I make more than listed median salary, though I still fall well short of 'tater' range, though 662015 you are not counting the money you take from sleeping sick people are you
USMCBillsFan Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I can't friggin believe that US Marine wasn't on there....little pay, Iraq deployements every other year, have to deal with the Navy....damn, what could be more fun.... I do love my job though.....

kegtapr Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 LMFAO! You should come down to Atlanta and apply for a position over at Emory University.....they are the foremost authority on pansexual apes.....apparently they will bang ANYTHING at ANY TIME. I thought it was a joke, but it's totally not....I forget what these particular apes are called (insert joke here), but by God they have them. 661948 I believe the genus is Sexpert and the species is Trooper.
Marv's Neighbor Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 What happened to: auto worker, airline employee, or any other industry that's been de-regulated or gone thru the accounting slight of hand called bankruptcy!
TheMadCap Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I'm with you at #16 MadCap. 662378 Science baby! You foolz better recognize!!
stevestojan Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Two things wrong with that list. 1) Actuary is on there. If actuary made it, professional watcher of drying paint should be in the 20s somewhere. 2) Teachers aren't on there. A job where you get your salary for working 9 months a year, with vacations every month it seems (see: this week)....

A job where you get your salary for working 9 months a year, with vacations every month it seems (see: this week).... 662863 I wonder if the money was the main factor in both of those decisions.....I actually know people who do each of those.....The actuary guy Im SURE makes six figures easy.....He and his wife have a pretty nice life, though I'm certain her income does help. I know two teachers, one of whom is a close friend of mine, and she makes about 60% of what I do. I think a teaching job would be pretty cool, and here in Georgia they just passed a law where anyone with a Bachelors degree can sit for an exam to teach K-12. Seems like a lot of the jobs on the list are pretty balanced among the criteria they use, unless you have an oversaturated profession such as 'attorney', where the potential for a mid-six figure income can offset some of the areas where the profession doesn't score as high.
DeLuca1967 Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 How does 'Porn Star' and the 'guy on the highway making 25 bucks an hour holding a orange flag' not make the list? #1 not on that list? I know a guy who does piercings for women. He is very selective on his clients. I offered him a grand to be his assistant but he turned me down.
