Astrobot
I'm thinking that Huff and Davis won't be there at 8, and our choice is either Ngata, Bunkley, or Justice. Any thoughts? 1. Houston---Reggie Bush 2. New Orleans----D'Brickashaw Ferguson (Mario Williams, Leinart, Ferguson) 3. Tennessee----Matt Leinart (Ferguson, Mario Williams) 4. New York Jets----Mario Williams (Mario Williams, Ferguson) 5. Green Bay----A.J. Hawk (Vernon Davis, Huff) 6. San Francisco----Vernon Davis (Huff) 7. Oakland----Vince Young 8. Buffalo Haloti Ngata-Bunkley (Winston Justice, Huff)

Coach Tuesday
I'm thinking we cut Peerless Price tomorrow, eat his signing bonus, let him sign with the Patriots, then trade our #8 pick to the Patriots for Peerless Price.

JimBob2232
IMO there are 8 players I wouldnt mind selecting with the #8 pick. Convienent! Bush, Leinert, Young, Huff, Davis, Mario, D-Brick, Hawk. Now, I wouldnt be thrilled with Young or Leinert (or really Davis)...but I would take it in stride. Im not thrilled with Ngata or Bunkley, especially this high. See if you cant trade down with someone looking to leapfrog Detroit and Arizona for Young or cutler. I think the demand will be high. If we move into the 10-15 range, we can likely get Ngata or Bunkley there. If not, Chad Jackson, Winston Justice or Chad Greenway are good Options. If we need to move down below 15, we likely pick up another 1st rounder next season, plus can grab a good CB or possibly someone who falls. None of these options sound terrible to me. I dont like what the options look like late in the first. But if it means getting another first next year, it might be worth it.

MartyBall4Buffalo
Bunkley most definitly bunkley. I like Vernon Davis I just dont like a te at 8 regardless of who it is. Especially in a te deep draft. Marcedes Lewis or Leonard Pope could be there in the 2nd and I dont consider either one of them an extreme drop off from Davis. However after Bunkley and Ngata I consider the rest of the dts a drop off. I'm intrigued by McCargo and Jonathan lewis though.
ndirish1978
Oakland is much more likely to draft Cutler because he is much better than Young at throwing the deep ball. They didn't go out and get Moss to have him run deep routes only to turn around 20 yards downfield and realize Young is running. You think I'm wrong? With the exception of TO and McNabb, who lasted 1 year together with all that tension, what other scrambling QB in the league now has top tier receivers? Kipers Hair
As an expert on all things football and related to the city of Buffalo and mankind in general - 1. Houston---Reggie Bush 2. New Orleans----D'Brickashaw Ferguson 3. Tennessee----Matt Leinart 4. New York Jets----Mario Williams 5. Green Bay----A.J. Hawk 6. San Francisco----Vernon Davis 7. Oakland----Vince Young 8. Minnesota ---- Jay Cutler And so it shall come to pass that the aging tandem of Marv and Ralph shall slide down the pole of an interesting but average draft class to select Winston Justice or make a bold move and select the mammoth max jean Giles at number 17. All is not lost, Darnell Bing in the 2rd Round will cure the woes and fears that a starting Coy Wire will bring. The DT position will be improved only slightly with the bold moves of selecting both Kyle Williams and Dusty Dvoracek in the 3rd...
