BUFFALOTONE Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 He filled in pretty well for Davis considering the offensive line he was running behind. Not saying ours is much better but could be a solid backup for Willis. Especially with Houston taking Bush he may actually come at a decent price...I think it would be a good signing, not sure of his size though.
ROSCOE P. COE TRAIN Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Yes, I heard news. He is still VERY slow and no better than the two average backs on the Texans.
The_Real Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I heard we already have a fat guard starting. Also, didn't we already add 400 lbs of O line about a week ago? T_R
apuszczalowski Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 I heard he came in for a visit with the Bills yesterday and met with the team and had lunch Just kidding, I have no idea if they had lunch
BuckeyeBill Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 Jonathan Wells was a great playmaker running back when he played for the Buckeyes! I was a fan watching him run for multiple touchdowns against Michigan. When he played for Houston, he never had much of a playing opportunity because of Dominack Davis. When he played in spot duty he played above average. He beefed up to be fullback, but is planning to take the weight off and play tailback again. I think that he would be a great pick-up and I hope the Bills sign him. In time, would take Shaud William's spot as the #2. By the way... this cements the fact that the Texans will take Reggie Bush. If they were targeting someone else, they would have kept him.
