2003
1. Brodrick Bunkley DT, FSU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ickbunkley.html I remember when Marv was first hired as Bills GM and he was interviewed by WKBW. He emphasized that the D-line plays a huge role in the team. Bunkley has shown amazing athletic ability (44 reps and a short shuttle run that beats plenty WR's times). I think that Bill Kollar can transform this guy into a Pro-Bowl perennial player. Plus the Bills ranked 31 in rush defense last year! 2. Eric Winston, OT, MIA. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...ricwinston.html Not only was he a vocal leader for his college football team, but he was one of the lone bright spot's on Miami's o-line. Before his injury he looked like an elite LT prospect. He is a very intriuging prospect. 3a. Daniel Bullocks, SS, NEB. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...elbullocks.html Has got great speed (4.38 40) and good size (6'0 212). I am pretty sure it is Mike Mayock who said this guy will have many solid years in the NFL. He will be a good challenge for Matt Bowen at the SS spot. 3b. Derek Hagan, WR, ASU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...derekhagan.html The Bills now have a need for a large reciever now that Moulds left. Hagan is 6'1 and had a 36 inch vertical (not to mention, he ran a 4.45 40). He is a tough, smart player who runs solid routes. 4. Rob Sims, OG, OSU. http://ohiostatebuckeyes.cstv.com/sports/m...sims_rob00.html The Bills have not done much in Free Agency to fix up their O-line, so, the more rookies, the better. Rob Sims has good toughness and strength. He is also a very versatile prospect (played LT in college). Vic Carucci ranks him the #4 guard entering this year's draft. 5a. Jerome Harrison, RB, WSU. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...meharrison.html Better alternative backup running back than Shaud Williams. 5b. Chris Gocong, DE, Cal Poly Tec. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...hrisgocong.html He is a very intense player and has a nack to get into the backfield. (Gil Brandt ranks him as the #6 DE going into this year's draft.) 6. Rashon Powers-Neal, FB. http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...powersneal.html Shelton is not getting any younger. 7. Chijioke Onyenegecha, CB, OKLAHOMA http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingr...nyenegecha.html He has good size (6'1) and the cover 2 defense requires a lot of DBs. BillsGuyInMalta
I'd be fine with that draft, aside from Bunkley. I've got a sinking feeling that he's just another workout warrior, he only really did well at FSU one year (this season) and was nothing special before that. I'd pass on him in the first, especially since we could still land a good DT in the 2nd. I do like the rest of the draft though, big props for the Derek Hagan selection...damn good player. Coach Tuesday
The problem with your prediction is that Hagan and Bullocks are second rounders.

With all of the teams needs, I think we have to go with the OL on the first and second round picks. DL could be in the third, and then go to SS or CB. The rest of the picks after that could be for the best players available.
The Jokeman
That's a solid mock, I don't have any real complaints. The only thing it's missing is our second 7th Round pick.
Rico
I hope & pray that Winston is off the board before we pick in the 2nd.
