I've given this guy a lot of grief in the past because of his ridiculously stiff play, even nicknaming him Lurch at one point. However, I watched him for a few series this afternoon and I've got to say he's gotten considerably smoother since the last time I saw him. His pass protection technique was solid, he was doing a nice job finishing his blocks in the ground game, he was putting people on the ground regularly, and he was even getting into the second level to block another man at times.

I'm not saying he's an NFL Tackle or that he ever will be, but he has developed very nicely since I last saw him and looks like he may even be ready to be a legitimate back-up for the Bills.

Thanks Simon. He's probably right on schedule. Coming from Div 1AA he had a big adjustment years one and two.
