Taro T Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Hey Keg...are you suggesting that Jauron has a cardboard cutout nudie of Ralph...and each time the team wins, he removes an article of clothing? Am I remembering the movie correctly? 656339 I would expect it to work the other way. Each time they win, Ralph GETS clothing. Otherwise, 0-16 would definitely be possible. As for picks, here's my totally random shot. Sep 10 @New England - L Sep 17 @Miami - L Sep 24 N.Y. Just Jack Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Keep those cards and letters coming, folks. Just over seven hours before we close the competition. 657205 Looking back over the rules, it looks like #6 is to discourage people from putting in entries using alter egos, correct?

IDBillzFan Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 Looking back over the rules, it looks like #6 is to discourage people from putting in entries using alter egos, correct? 657241 Ideally, yes. For example, it would be okay if BF in Indiana posted, but I'd prefer he also didn't post under his alter-ego ieatcrayonz. Now, I know that BF has been banned, but you get the point. I wouldn't put the money up if I weren't prepared to part with it under the rules I've created, but also under the rules of life which say somewhere, somehow, some douchebag will do anything to beat the system. That's also why you have to have been a member since Jan 1 of this year. It eliminates the teenybopper who thinks it would be great to thwart a system created by a guy just trying to have some offseason fun.
IDBillzFan Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 Okay, folks. Everyone out of the pool. This contest is closed until...well...until I open it again at my discretion.
IDBillzFan Posted May 3, 2006 Author Posted May 3, 2006 Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up. You say we sucked at our draft? You say we were an embarrassment? You say you could have done better? You say you see all and know all? WelllemmetellyawhatI'mgonnado. For the next few hours, and for the first time ever in the storied history of the "Dinner's On Me, Smartass" Contest, I will allow all participants to change their picks based on what they saw happen at the draft. I only have a couple of simple requests: If you edit your picks, please do so in your original post and please add a color-coded comment (use red please) to comment specifically what your changes were so we can reflect back on them as the season progresses. This thread will be closed again at noon PST. Remember; tell us what you changed and why.
