I hope we take it. Seahawks have it pretty easy. I have started to carve out the idea that the NFL knows the seahawks got screwed by the officials in SBXL so they are giving them a small push off, nudge type benefit.

The schedule is determined by a formula...it is predetermined & can't be modified by the NFL. Shhhh, don't tell anyone but the Seahaks lost SBXL because they were not the best team.

Dibs Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Yes, especially since that would be stupid thing to say. 655054[/snapback] Really? You honestly think the Seahawks were robbed? I thought they had a few bad calls against them but their play was not good at all. Oh well, it's not like it was an important game or anything...like a Bills game

It just doesn't do it justice.
cantankerous Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I think we have a very manageable schedule...The first few games will definatly set the tone. We've got to come out strong and violent. Hopefully knocking a few Pats players silly early in the contest...kinda like Lofa Tatupu's collision with Nick Goings in the playoffs last year. I'm really looking forward to whipping the Bears and Packers...We better.
IDBillzFan Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 There is no way to determine the difficulty of our 2006 schedule because you're basing it on the way teams performed a year ago, and in most cases, with different personnel than we'll face this year. Minnesota makes a major quarterback move and Brad Johnson has shown he can move the team down the field. Does San Diego figure to be a solid this year with Rivers as they'd been with Brees? It's a shame we don't play them sooner in the year. The Jets have a new coach and you can count on Miami playing at a higher level this year than they did last year as well. But measuring the strength of your schedule off old news helps people feel badly about their team and upcoming chances, so I won't interfere with anyone's desire to make themselves feel crappy.
scribo Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Note that the Bills have the most difficult schedule in the AFC East. Why would that be? Because the Jests are playing the last-place schedule, and each of the two other teams get to play the Jests and Bills twice. I wish the Bills could play the Bills twice. Not fair. Doh!
