C.Biscuit97 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2399461 He would have been a nice fill in for a few years. Guess they turned down our offer of Coy Wire.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Good god, Wayne Gandy is still alive? He's got to be closing in on his late 30s by now.
BUFFALOTONE Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Saints agree to trade LT Wayne Gandy to the Falcons for free safety Scott. I guess this means that the Brick will fall to #2 or maybe a trade down on draft day to get Justice and aquire some picks. Especially now with the hype for Justice after the USC pro day. How will this affect us at #8?
I Forgot My Last Username Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Tom Donahoe is really doing some great advising over there.
Ramius Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 If Houston ever decided to take D'Brick at #1, that would really stick it in the pooper of NO.
Astrobot Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Well, now you know the first 2 off the board, but they're following what most Mock Drafts have said all along. 1. 45 different mock drafts have Houston taking Bush 2. 19 show New Orleans taking DaBrick (11 taking Leinart, 8 taking Mario Williams). 3. 32 show Tennessee taking Leinart. Only 8 think it'll be Vince Young. If you wanted N.O. to trade this pick, your wish just went poof.
D_House Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Tom Donahoe is really doing some great advising over there. 654555 TD is in NO? Ha! That explains why they've let 3 starting lineman go with no attempts to replace them.

Because if they are, you really are a machine. 2) In your mock draft, is there really a player named Guy Whimper??? That sounds like one of those Madden made up names.

CJPearl2 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Could this mean they are targeting Brick with the 2nd pick? If so, we may know the first 2 picks. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2399461
CaliforniaCheez Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Justice just fired his agent for spending too much attention on Leinart. Ferguson is too good to pass up. LT's are valuable. Justice should be available at 8. He will likely not be around after 12.
Acantha Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 The first thing that hits me about this...Mario Williams is going to the friggin jets! SOB!!!
syhuang Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Which means Vince should fall to us. Woohoo! 654719 No Vince Young please. We have 3 QBs in the roster and 2 of them are project-in-progress.
apuszczalowski Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I'm starting to warm up to bringing Vince Young here, Maybe he could join the board and bring the IQ level here up a few notches
VABills Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I am one who is a big detractor of the blind epileptic squirrel that we have at QB, however, even I would rather keep him, then have Vince Young.
John from Riverside Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Which means Vince should fall to us. Woohoo! 654719 Which opens up things for a trade down.... PERFECT
