Ramius Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=2397704 Heres a column about the 3 USC o-linemen. Its mentioned that Deuce Lutui could sneak into the later stages of the first round, but is probably a second round pick. I cant see a possible 1st rounder/solid 2nd rounder that has gotten a lot of good press falling as far as the beginning of the 3rd round for us. One can hope, but i'm guessing he'll be long gone by the time we pick in round 3.
Rico Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Well, we better take him in the second round then. And if Preston can beat out Villarial, we'd have The Deuce and The Duke.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Deuce isnt as good as Davin Joseph is. Dont get me wrong, he's a damn fine player and should be a solid Guard in the NFL for years, but Joseph is downright dominant and hopefully will be our selection in the 2nd. However, it would be kind of funny for our new starting LT and LG to both be from USC.

I've just got a bad feeling he'll be gone earlier in the 2nd.
BUFFALOTONE Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 The only reason that he is starting to get hype is because USC had there proday. Granted he is a decent player but a late 2nd rounder.

That's what the Ravens got in Ray Lewis: a guy who was a very good college player, but became a much better pro. I think Lutiu's upside is tremendous and I believe he'll have a better pro career than Joseph. That said, either guy would be a really good pick for Buffalo in the 2nd.
