scribo Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Packers open vs the Bears. http://www.packers.com/news/stories/2006/04/06/2/ 654177 Damn. I was hoping Jauron was going to get a shot at da'bears first thing. Oh, so much for Peter King's each team gets just one game on Monday night this year: Now known is that the Packers will play three prime-time road games, two on ESPN's 'Monday Night Football.' Green Bay travels to Philadelphia for a MNF contest in the season's first month, and later in the year plays at Seattle on a Monday night. Six of Green Bay's eight regular-season home games start at 12 noon CT, and there are 11 total "early" kickoffs over the course of the 16-game season.
ganesh Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Damn. I was hoping Jauron was going to get a shot at da'bears first thing. Oh, so much for Peter King's each team gets just one game on Monday night this year: 654190 I think he probably meant at least one game for each team.
Spikes16 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I just need to know when we play @ the fish. I will have air arrangements booked by this weekend!!!!

scribo Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I think he probably meant at least one game for each team. 654194 First, that's not possible if more than one team has two games or more. Second, he clearly said each team would only appear on Monday Night Football once this upcoming season. It was in response to a question about why Seattle wasn't among the first teams on MNF. He said it was because of the above stated rule and that the league wanted to have the Seahawks on later in the season, when games seemingly meant more.
