ajzepp Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Of course you are correct, BUT.....I think that we will have SOOO much cap space in 07 (and perhaps more early picks), things can work out really well. AJ, we need to draft a bunch of strong, young linemen that can play football and give them a year to gain experience. If we do this, the wins will follow. 651968 I totally agree....as pro-TD as I was, I am still dumbfounded how he can ignore the lines the way he did. Even if you just think about the four teams that beat us in the Superbowl those years....those lines were utterly DOMINANT. If Marv, Jauron, and Modrak can get our walls built up, I think it bodes well for our cap space next season (well, what's left of it after we build the lines, that is
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Nope...aside from being pissed. 651977 You're not allowed to be pissed at the new old regime.
ajzepp Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Who would that be? 651972 ha ha, no need for you and I to rehash old debates about EM, Bill.....we should just agree to disagree
Bill from NYC Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Me too. The Bills had too much leverage in this to accept only a 5th. Oh well, nothing we can do about it now aye? 651974 10.1 ypc doesn't exactly command much, right? Parlay that with age, whining, quitting on one's team in a dolphin game and an obscene cap figure, and it takes away some leverage, or so one would think.
Bill from NYC Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 ha ha, no need for you and I to rehash old debates about EM, Bill.....we should just agree to disagree 651983 I know, but I couldn't resist.
ajzepp Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I know, but I couldn't resist. 651990 lol....maybe we should start up with Bledsoe too, while we're at it
BUFFALOTONE Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I come here to find out about the Moulds trade and I see this quote and that Marv performed sexual favors for a pick... gotta love being a Bills fan!!! Hooray for old man porn!!! 651920 Wait a minute pal you are on the wrong site.

Parlay that with age, whining, quitting on one's team in a dolphin game and an obscene cap figure, and it takes away some leverage, or so one would think. 651985 Well, it apparently commanded about $6 million for this year - only about $1mil less than the Bills were due to pay him.....
BUFFALOTONE Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Ich, all these mental images of catheters and wrinkly foreskin and making me want to vErp. 651930 eewww acheap shot, take it is bud.
JDG Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 If they get a 5th, I am thinking that it will be packaged with an 07 pick. 651921 Huh????? For a guy who gets 10.1 ypc and is on the downside of his career?????
R. Rich Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I think Moulds is still a above average receiver, but one of the best, not sure about that anymore....I can think of several guys off the top of my head who are better right at this moment: Ward, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, TO, Branch, Moss, Burress, Santana Moss, Fitzgerald, Boldin... Not saying EM isnt good, just saying he is not elite anymore. And I wish him the best. He was one of my favs. 651953 No way is TO, Randy Moss, Santana Moss, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, Deion Branch, Plaxico Burress, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, or Hines Ward better than Moulds. He's a former Bill, and we love him too much to say he's not as good as them.
Ball'n Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Did we just trade our best player? 652004 Not our best the past few years.. but Big leader in lockerroom and in feild.. Moorman is our best player
R. Rich Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Did we just trade our best player? 652004 ...and possibly get a 5th round pick for him? Is that an indictment of the Bills' talent level, or what?
a player to be named later Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 I just keep getting the feeling that with Donahoe we won alot of battles but not the war. Sure we made all the flashy deals but when it came down to it we got nothing. Maybe Marv doesn't think its not worth it to take up the whole teams time bargaining for a mid level pick as opposed to a higher mid level pick. OR maybe we got a 4th or a 3rd who knows.

Like A Mofo Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 So still no official word yet on compenstation?
Ball'n Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Compenstation has not come in yet. Hope for 4th, but most likely 5th. Maybe a very small chance for 3rd?
R. Rich Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 So still no official word yet on compenstation? 652021 It's none of your business.
