stuckincincy Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Good for him. He certainly was a good player for the Bills. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/F/FBN...EMPLATE=DEFAULT
stuckincincy Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Oooo. Nice usage of "re-sign"! 651387 Thank you!
tennesseeboy Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Ahh...watching all of these moves in Miami makes me think how everyone pooh-poohed my suggestion that we might want to go to the college ranks to sign Nick Saban instead of Mularkey. Oh well. Maybe in a couple of years I'll be saying something about Mike Leech as he takes an NFL team to the superbowl.
X. Benedict Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Somebody remind me why the Bills let Sammy go. Was it because of the breakout potential of Burns?
Ned Flanders Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Saw that over the weekend...Sammy is one we should have pulled out the stops to keep. Reminds me of Robb Riddick in all he can do.
ganesh Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Somebody remind me why the Bills let Sammy go. Was it because of the breakout potential of Burns? 651476 No. Sammy wanted an oppurtunity to play more RB and he wasn't going to get it here with TH and WM as 1 and 2......and Miami did not have a RB, so there was more oppurtunity to play RB there....and in fact he might even have started a few games for them..... He was a good ST player while here....

Don't you think that will hurt the fish?
tennesseeboy Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Why? He reached out for MM. Don't you think that will hurt the fish? 651558 Reaching out for MM is a puzzlement, but I'm willing to consider he might be a good offensive co-ordinator. His stay at Buffalo didn't do anything to give me any confidence that he was a good offensive co-ordinator...but maybe Nick sees something I don't.
