millbank Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 Remember to go to your board settings and checkmark, "Is daylight saving time in effect?" , so your wall time will reflect daylight savings time change:)
millbank Posted April 2, 2006 Author Posted April 2, 2006 Thank you, Dear. 649841 you are welcome...
cåblelady Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 OK.....gotta go find that hour I lost. I just know I put it around here someplace.
ieatcrayonz Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 If you don't change your settings, you'll think Ed posted something stupid at 7:30 when he really posted something stupid at 6:30.
stuckincincy Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 If postings are an hour behind, click on My Controls, Then in the left hand section, scroll down to "Options", click on "Board Settings" - check the Daylight Savings Time box, then accept the changes. ...I forgot to set mine.

Any help out there on what year they started doing this (this is your cue Cincy)? Any, the way I look at it... I was born after they started doing this (I think?)... So the way I look at it... I never really lost it.
Chef Jim Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 If you folks are checking what time people posted stuff I think you have a problem that needs adressing.

Chef Jim Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Different states started at different times. I believe Arizona still doesn't follow DST. 651043 They don't, messed me up when we drove through there.
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Different states started at different times. I believe Arizona still doesn't follow DST. 651043 Thanks... I think Cincy just said Indiana has just legislated it this year and will force everyone... It mostly seems like the areas on the "cusp" choose to or not. Go up to New Buffalo, MI and they are on CT in the summer and ET in the winter... They don't change either... But, then again they are smack dab on the time zone line too...
ExiledInIllinois Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Oh... I acually prefer (personally, IMO) to be just east of a time zone line... I hate CT here... Too much sun in the morning... It is that damn 59 minute "push" that exists through the zone...
