With almost 5 minutes left in the 1stqrtr of MNF, I've seen Brunell bounce 4 balls of Laverneus Coles' hands.

That's because he was throwin' 'em too hard/high/low/far out. If Coles catches it, then it was a mistake to throw it, but Coles made the play....

Oh, I forgot, wrong team, sorry...

Bust out the blame machine cuz it's gotta be somebody's fault, and I won't rest 'til I've lorded it over everybody!

Did you see the catch Coles had on the sideline? That was unbeleivable!

It would have been a lot nicer if it hadn't bounced off his hands straight up in the air before he actually gathered it in. Of the 4 that bounced off him, that's the only one he actually caught and the only reason managed to catch it was because the Dullas corner was curled up on the ground with a shredded knee.

Brunell bounces another one off him and Gibbs busts out the piano wire.

The old school coaches like Noll and Madden (before he became a blathering pinhead) would dump a guy who consistantly couldn't catch passes. Lynn Swann used to B word about how hard Bradshaw threw the ball (big surprise). Noll told him to catch the damn thing or he'd replace him with someone who would.

Blinky & Largent, where are you?

And since we're on MNF, I've got to give a shout out to whatever national writer it was who wrote that Larry Allen has rededicated himself to the game and is back to his old form.

"He's still fu(#ing horrible!!!"

Put that in your column ;-)

Get with the program - Brunell is washed up.

With that OLine, if Gibbs continues to send his H-backs and TE's out they may find Brunell washed up in Washington Harbor tomorrow. Of course, when they're the only guys who are moving the chains, what else are you gonna do? Nice block on the TE screen Laverne. That boy is going to get a beating at halftime.

And all that being said, I'd give somebody's eyeteeth to see Brunell running the Bills offense.
