truth on hold Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I think bust. Jones did a great job assembling the best WR's in the league but he forgot he needed someone to throw the ball to them. Bledsoe is past his prime. I see major disappointment here and Cowboys scrambling to find a QB before TO and Glenn's contracts expire.
mead107 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 i love polls , go drew. he can still throw the long ball
tennesseeboy Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Bledsoe can still throw. He can't run. I have a feeling with the two wrs and an all pro tight end in Whitten, he is going to be in high clover next year. Assuming that the cowboys can learn to tolerate TO
obie_wan Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Bledsoe will probably put up great stats, especially between the 20s. TO will help because he will score from outside the redzone. However, just like last year, Drew will melt down at key moments and lose games all by himself. TO may actually physically maim Drew on the field after a meltdown.
stuckincincy Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Nice to learn that they are better than Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh, or some others.
John from Riverside Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 - Another year older - Still crumbles at crunchtime Drew is going to get a lot of folks hopes up....then he is going to break a lot of hearts.....
Stl Bills Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Nice to learn that they are better than Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh, or some others. 644844 like Fitz and Boldin or Holt and Bruce
silvermike Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Let's see here: Evans-Moulds could have been up there, really. But current tandems, you can't beat Harrison-Wayne, IMHO. Moss-Porter on raw potential. Moss-Randeel-Givens on speed. Williams-Williams on draft position. And Holt-Bruce, as mentioned before. What about Smith-Keyshawn?
BuffaloBilliever Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Smith/Johnson is huge, same with Moss/Randle El/Givens, but what about Williams/Williams/Vines? If they're given a good GB, that's a hella good group.
smokinandjokin Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Which one means he's going to suck, boom or bust?
Ramius Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 This poll sucks, because TO and Glenn are about the 10th-15th best tandem in the league. Fighting for the #1 tandem is Harrison-Wayne and Johnson-Houshmanzedah
Rubes Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 How about an option for "No Longer the Buffalo Bills Quarterback".
KD in CA Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I think bust. Jones did a great job assembling the best WR's in the league but he forgot he needed someone to throw the ball to them. Bledsoe is past his prime. I see major disappointment here and Cowboys scrambling to find a QB before TO and Glenn's contracts expire. 644708 Depends on your definition. Bust? I doubt it. I suspect the Cowboys will have a good year and make a run at the playoffs. Most teams (certainly the Bills) would consider a playoff team to be a great achievement. Will Bledsoe win a Super Bowl? Doubtful, since the Cowboys aren't going to be that good. Drew has always been a good QB and will be again, but will only go as far as the running game and defense will allow.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Fitz/Boldin>>>> Harrison/Wayne I'll take youth. I'm still not 100% sold on Reggie Waynes ability to be anything that special. Boldin already proved he could before fitz got there. Not to mention that whole thing about the cards having the #1 passing offense last year while not having a steady quaterback in play. Anquan Boldin | 14 | 12 45 3.8 0 | 102 1402 13.7 7 Larry Fitzgerald | 16 | 8 41 5.1 0 | 103 1409 13.7 10 Marvin Harrison | 15 | 0 0 0.0 0 | 82 1146 14.0 12 Reggie Wayne | 16 | 0 0 0.0 0 | 83 1055 12.7 5 Honorable mention goes to Cin duo of Chad and TJ.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Forgot to mention while I think Bledsoe will be money next year with TO, I believe the biggest benefiter will be their rb Julius Jones. Jones who was a dissapointment last year, should see less teams stacking the box, and have the opportunity to make more plays running the ball.
cantankerous Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 BOOM! Glenn and T.O. are going to put up HUGE numbers...anyone thinking otherwise is just plain stupid. Bledsoe should have made the pro bowl last year...cause Mike Vick sure didn't belong there.
stinky finger Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 IMHO, Fitz/Boldin is the best duo. Holt is terriffic....Bruce has too many miles... Harrison/Wayne wouldn't be Harrison/Wayne w/out Manning. Johnson/Housh gets the nod @#2 Moss/Porter gets the nod @#3
stinky finger Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Let's see here: Moss-Randeel-Givens on speed. 644859 I'm sure you meant Lloyd......and yes....terriffic trio!!
stinky finger Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 ...anyone thinking otherwise is just plain stupid. 645232 The great and mighty OZ has spoken.
Mark VI Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 BOOM! Glenn and T.O. are going to put up HUGE numbers...anyone thinking otherwise is just plain stupid. 645232 Man, this line is long. What are they giving away up front ? Soup ?
