Mile High Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Am I the only one who thinks that this whole comp pick thing is complete bogus? You lose players cause your too cheap, can't afford them or what to go in a different direction at that position.. Right? Isn't that the result of bad cap management or just being stupid with your players? So why does the NFL feel they have to benefit teams with extra picks for there decisions or lack there of? I just don't get it to me it's ridiculous.
Stl Bills Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 This is absolute bull sh--! Bennie Anderson gets a higher pick than Pat fuggin Williams! Fug this.. should have been a 4th at least. This system makes no sense.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Fuggin' Pats have 11 freaking picks in this draft. F-U Krafty Bob. 643899 A thoroughly professional organization, those Paytoilets are.
Ramius Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 No not so much that...but I firmly believe the NFL caters to the bigger, more popular markets 643754 the fact that the NFL keeps the "secret formula" for comp picks so closely guarded screams bull sh--.
The Senator Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Ooh! Ooh! Is our pick the Mr. Irrelevant pick? 643986 "With the 248th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select Jeff Mroz, Quarterback, Yale University". He will be a star. You will see...
2003Contenders Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 the fact that the NFL keeps the "secret formula" for comp picks so closely guarded screams bull sh--. 644240 I must say that I agree. There really is no fair and objective way of handling this, which is why the compensatory system should be abolished.
