Advice, this kid needs to get punched in the mouth

Fighting is not cool, typically it is really stupid. I've laughed and shook my head at a barfight now and then.

That said, some people need their ass beat. Some, very few, need killing.

Each of us needs to know the why and when for any of it.

Maybe that last part is really more the issue. Most people don't seem to have a clue any longer.

This person will keep on stealing, until someone teaches him a lesson, sometimes violence as a deterent is needed, in this case I would lump him up.

If he's willing to walk off from both the guy in question and his brother, that will work too. Avoids all of it, 450 bucks is not a fortune. Cut your losses and move on. I get the idea he wants everyone to get along, and that's not going to happen. If one is going to maintain the relationships because "family" is involved, well...if one's brother is your "best friend", and turns a blind eye when their brother gets cheated...maybe he's not really your best friend? Blood isn't always thicker than water, one doesn't get a choice as to who they are related to. If it's that big of a deal, cut everyone off and live your own life.

Yes, I'm a harsh person, some would consider me pretty evil and mean - but I wasn't the one who asked the question. 450 bucks isn't the real issue here. Not being able to figure out why one is a victim is. This is a pattern, not an incident.

In short, either deal with it, or don't. I'll also be the first one to say that walking away from all of it, including his brother is probably the hardest choice, given the value he seems to put on the relationship. Bottom line, when it's all said and done, who is going to look out better for you and yours than you? Especially if one has their own family?

Crap, this will probably get deleted too.

As much as I'd like to beat him I see the idea of writing him off and moving on. Although 450 dollars isn't a ton of money, I'm an expecting father and losing any money right now sucks. Yet, with all the changes just around the corner (and I mean just around the corner. Due date was last Tuesday.) I'll cut my losses and move on.

My brother does have his priorities messed up, I agree. I have other things to worry about and the money shouldn't motivate me to get into a fight. This kid sucks and he's been warned that if he comes anywhere near me I will bloody him.

I really hate walking away knowing that someone got the best of me. I guess I'll just hope he comes near me and I get to punch his face.

Thanks for the feed back guys.

Vive la Russ!
