marck Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 I just read on KFFL, that Miami will open the season in Pittsburgh in the Thursday night opener on September 7th. The remaining games will be played on September 10th and 11th.
scribo Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Good, the stinkin' fish can be a 1/2 game behind us before Fowler makes the first snap of the season.
stuckincincy Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Odd match up, TV wise. 643476 Yes it is. The marketing models for the past ten years or so say that 20 or so nationwide exposures per season to Cowboys or Packers games is what the public desires.
2003Contenders Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Recall that Miami blew out Denver in the season opener last year...
Beerball Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Felons get the Thanksgiving game too. 643509 Hope they choke on it.
scribo Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Felons get the Thanksgiving game too.Link 643509 Damn, why no Bills mention?
Ghost of BiB Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Hope they choke on it. 643515 I'll be in L-Tryptophan stupor anyway.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 i always thought it was a rerun of the championship game as the opener i dont think the fish were in the playoffs last season so wtf?

Ramius Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Felons get the Thanksgiving game too.Link 643509 Like anyone outside of cali is going to watch the 10:15pm eastern MNF game bewteen the raiders and chargers on sept 11. yawn.
Beerball Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Slightly off kilter--must watch NFL network programming. I stumbled into the Dolphin cheerleader tryouts last weekend. Enough plastic and spandex to stretch aroun the equator. It was funny listening to a chick who made the first cut badmouth anyone who didn't. Next cut was of one of the poor unfortunates. I laughed, I cried, I changed the channel.
buffaloboyinATL Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 i always thought it was a rerun of the championship game as the opener i dont think the fish were in the playoffs last season so wtf? 643524 Man, the NFL just keeps dissing Seatle over and over again. We know how they feel...
kasper13 Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Anyone honestly think the Bills will get a Primetime game? They don't deserve one. All Sundays at 1pm. There's the Bills schedule.
stinky finger Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Like anyone outside of cali is going to watch the 10:15pm eastern MNF game bewteen the raiders and chargers on sept 11. yawn. 643533 I'll watch. Perfect way to cap the night. Mondays at the club. 10 or so of us guys. The more NFL, the merrier.
drhockey Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Anyone honestly think the Bills will get a Primetime game? They don't deserve one. All Sundays at 1pm. There's the Bills schedule. 643540 Unfortunately, yes. I have a feeling the Bills will get the annual a$$ kicking event known as the sunday night game in New England. That seems to be a constant over the past few years.
IDBillzFan Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 Good, the stinkin' fish can be a 1/2 game behind us before Fowler makes the first snap of the season. 643471 I suspect you're kidding because you're a smart football dude and smart football dudes know that a rebuilding team like the fish going against a basically-set-in-stone team like the Steelers on opening day = no real film for the Steelers to study = general mismatch = advantage Miami. Like someone mentioned, they beat Denver in the opener last year and it wasn't because Denver sucked. It was a long day for the Broncos (lost 34-10 to Frerotte and the fish). They lost cornerback Champ Bailey and running back Mike Anderson to injuries, wilted in the 90-degree South Florida heat and fell to 0-7 in Miami.
