yall
I've done it more than once over a few issues this last month alone. 645524 I rarely do, but this is just madness. Our elected officials are to worried about looking racist and losing votes, and not worried about the health and well being of our nation. It's time to say enough. I just emailed every one of my contacts with Schumer's and Hillary's contact info. If you folks want to be heard, here are the links. It only takes a few minutes: http://schumer.senate.gov/ http://clinton.senate.gov/
Ghost of BiB
Check out the photos here:http://michellemalkin.com/index.htm I didn't see them on CNN 645475 But, you WILL see this on CNN: NO School Busses I bring this up because of this line: Some submerged to their roofs in the black flood waters, the yellow school buses were widely photographed in the days after Hurricane Katrina and have become an icon of the city's devastated school system. An icon for a devestated school system? How about an icon to having an idiot for a mayor? I don't suppose it ever crossed anyone's minds at CNN that if those busses had been filled with residents, and sent west, they wouldn't be on E-Bay? Crap Throwing Monkey
How many of you are willing to go to a counter protest? How many of you have written your senators? (I emailed Chuck and Billary today... why not do the same?) Bitching on an internet forum is fun, but unless you speak up, you will not be heard. 645510 I would if it did any good. It's not like people in Washington listen. Bitching in a crowd of several tens of thousands of people is fun, but unless you support open, armed insurrection, you will not be heard. VABills
It has...they just haven't figured out how to blame that on Bush yet. 645543 No they did. They blamed him for not have school bus drivers there to drive the buses since the city school bus drivers were busy getting their own families to the convention center, that was supposed to be locked. The fact that President was the furtherest up the food chain could have been a good excuse had he come riding in on his white horse with the national guard immediately, but they waited, bumbled and his P.R. folks were asleep at the wheel. It could have been a flashback to his leadership under 911, but it only served to remind us of how incompetent his folks are and raise doubt about the progress of the war. I believe this was the "tipping" point of his administration. His folks botched and every stupid little mistep since then has gotton amplified. They all have them, but a step in the right direction can diffuse them. 911 did for Bush, Katrina took him the other direction.
HereComesTheReignAgain
Check out the photos here:http://michellemalkin.com/index.htm I didn't see them on CNN 645475 That is truly one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. Taking down the American flag to replace it with the Mexican flag should be seen for what it is, an attempt to take over this country. These people are not proud to be American they are only proud to take advantage of America. Illegal immigrants don't respect our flag, our country, or our citizens. If you are so proud of the Mexican flag and what it represents, why the hell did you leave that country? We do not need these protesters in our country, we need law abiding people who will take great pride in their new Amercian citizenship. How many of us have relatives who cried with joy on the day they became US citizens? Don't dishonor their memory by giving in to these mobs! I was living in Savannah when it was evacuated for a hurricane. All public transport, all the school busses, everything was used to go through neighborhoods, pick up people who had no recourse and take them to pre-arranged, designated "host" communities far inland. The Governor, and especially the President had nothing whatsoever to do with the hurricane evacuation plan. The point is, they thought about it, they had one, and they executed it. People stayed, but it wasn't because they couldn't leave. I put that square on the back of the NO administration.

Serious question, not trying to instigate.
GG
>>>>>Mr. Krugman also observed — citing a leading Harvard study — "that U.S. high school dropouts would earn as much as 8 percent more if it weren't for Mexican immigration. That's why it's intellectually dishonest to say, as President Bush does, that immigrants 'do jobs that Americans will not do.' The willingness of Americans to do a job depends on how much that job pays — and the reason some jobs pay too little to attract native-born Americans is competition from poorly paid immigrants." Thusly do the two leading economic writers for the nation's two leading liberal newspapers summarily debunk the economic underpinning of the president's and the Senate's immigration proposals.<<<<< The above is the absolute truth. Pols can dance around this issue as they choose, but the cheap labor is simply a gift from Washington to Corporate America, of course at the expense of taxpaying, working people. 645296 And as usual, Krugman only talks about the heads side of the argument. While average wages may go up by 8% if it weren't for Mexican immigration, he neglects the tails argument that total unemployment may rise to wipe out the benefits brought by higher wages to the low skilled jobs. There's a living experiment of what happens when you implement wage controls, it's working perfectly well in France, Germany & GM.

Those that are weak get called out, dem or rep. Goes to over 300 people. Vote their asses out of office if they don't do anything about.

Serious question, not trying to instigate. 645594 If the American flag was taken down and replaced with ANY other flag in an attempt to make a political statement I would feel that way. This is not an issue where the mexicans flew their flag seperate from the Americam flag, they turned it upside down and placed it under the mexican flag! Pride in your heritage is fine up to the point where it prevents you from respecting America and it's people.
Chef Jim
Check out the photos here:http://michellemalkin.com/index.htm I didn't see them on CNN 645475 If all those kids (and adults) feel that it this country is so great that people should break the law, risk their lives, and be separated from their families to come here, shouldn't they be waving our flag? Yeah, 500,000 people showed up for a protest in L.A. But how many of them can vote? My guess less than 10%.

That is a wage control. Eliminating illegal workers from the workforce is not the same as what is in place in France and Germany. The wages may go up in America due to supply and demand of workers, not due to Government socialistic policies.
